Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Steuart Nutrition Employee Training app and manager portal ("the app"), used by Steuart Nutrition employees and managers to complete and oversee required training, quizzes, and related account features. Accounts are created only by an administrator invitation — there is no public signup on the app or the portal.

Account information: your name, work email address, a system-assigned 6-digit username, job title, work location, and your language and theme preferences.

Authentication data: your password is stored securely (hashed, never in plain text) by our backend provider, Supabase. If you choose to link Google Sign-In, we store your Google account email to verify it matches your existing account — we never receive or store your Google password.

Training data: which trainings are assigned to you, your video watch progress, quiz attempts and scores, completion and pass/fail status, and any goal-training or re-attempt requests you submit.

Communications: if you use the in-app AI chat assistant, we store your messages and the assistant's responses to maintain conversation history and improve support. Push notification delivery tokens are stored so we can send you training reminders and status updates.

Device and session information: your IP address, approximate session activity times, and basic device/OS information are recorded when you sign in, so you can review and manage your own active sessions from the app's Security settings. On the web portal, we also set a session cookie to keep you signed in — it is essential to the portal working and is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Profile photo: if you upload one, it is stored in our file storage provider and shown on your profile.

To operate the app: authenticate you, track your training progress, and let your manager see completion status for compliance purposes.

To communicate with you: training due-date reminders, quiz results, and account-security notifications (e.g. when a sign-in method is linked or unlinked to your account).

To provide support: if you contact support or use the AI chat assistant, we use your messages and basic device info to help resolve your issue.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your training or account data for advertising.

We share data only with the service providers that operate the app on our behalf, under their own data-processing agreements:

• Supabase — our database, authentication, and file storage provider.

• Mux — our video streaming provider, used to deliver training videos and enforce watch-through requirements.

• Expo/Google — push notification delivery.

• Google — only if you choose to link Google Sign-In; used solely to verify your identity.

Your manager and authorized administrators at Steuart Nutrition can see your training progress and account status through the manager portal, as part of normal workplace training administration.

We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We retain your account and training records for as long as your employment continues. If you leave the company or request deletion of your personal information, we anonymize your account — removing your name, email address, and other identifying details — while retaining your de-identified training and quiz records, since these are required for GMP-certified manufacturing compliance recordkeeping. You can review and revoke your own active sign-in sessions from Profile → Security → Active sessions.

You can link or unlink Google Sign-In from Profile → Security at any time; unlinking requires re-entering your password as a security precaution.

You can control which notification types you receive from Profile → Notifications.

This app is intended solely for use by Steuart Nutrition employees as part of their employment and is not directed at, or knowingly used by, children.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections, hashed passwords, and role-based access controls that limit who can see your information.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app and/or portal.
